Lexi's Halloween Party at school is Monday. We are making some spider cookies for her treat!

Tonight was the start of the Halloween festivities! We went to an ECFE party in Nicollet. Here they kids were just playing around on some toys. They had craft stations, games, a big slide, & the last thing we did was a hayride. Nick said it wasn't bumpy enough. I think I would have gone for more bumps too...maybe it would have bumped this baby out of me!! More Halloween pics to come Sat, Sun, & Monday!!

38 week Doctor Appt Update!

Getting closer.....still a couple of weeks to go. I'm dilated to a 2...which doesn't mean anything to me. I think I was at a 2 with Zander the last 2 or 3 weeks. I've still got this horrible cold/cough. Mostly cough now. I must have hacked enough in the doctor's office that he wrote a prescription for some cough syrup without me even asking!! So I'm hoping that helps...especially at night.

Heart rate was 120.....today I'm thinking it's a boy. Which grandma would be happy with since she doesn't like the girl name of Zoe we have picked out. Course she thinks that could be a boy name so maybe we WILL name it Zoe if it's a boy!! Have any of you heard of ZOE for a boy!?!? I didn't think so.

Oh, grandma another thing. I said to my doctor that you had heard on the radio that the record number of babies a woman had was 69. He doesn't believe that or think it's even possible...unless she had 7 at a time a few times. Ok, so I just searched ASK JEEVES & grannie, you ARE right. Here is the story...I'll have to print it out & take it to him next week.

WOW.

I also asked him how many babies he has delivered to the same woman. He said 4. I guess we'll tie that one for him!! He said he did deliver a woman's 12th baby...but not the 11 before that! And I think another lady's 7th or 8th but none of those previous ones either...and he said that 5 of those kids she didn't even have custody of anymore. That was a sad situation he said.

And one last thing I asked him......could I be induced ON my due date or that week. He said MAYBE....but insurance asks questions then when it's that close to the due date. He said we'd talk about it more next week. So more than likely a no & if that's the case, I'm gonna see if I can be induced on the 15th of Nov. Then we'll have two kids born on the 2nd of the month & two on the 15th. Easier to remember!

We only have ONE child in the house today. And for some reason, Gramps didn't want to take him too....can you guess who is home?!!?

Phil took Nick & Lexi golfing last night & they met Uncle Freddie at the course. Nick ended up going home with him & so today is keeping Barb & Mark busy I'm sure ;-) They'll be taking him to Ashley's volleyball game tonight where he & Eric were going to be *Ball Boys* but Ashley found out they have enough for tonight, so maybe next time. Bummer!

Gramps came over this morning to pick the boat up & store it in his garage. As Zander is doing the usual destroying of the house, I told Grandpa he is welcome to take him home with him. No go. He gladly took Lexi with him instead. So they'll put her to work today raking & cleaning up their yard. Then she'll go with them to Ashley's game tonight.

So Phil & I are here today with just the busy as ever Zan Man. Thank GOD for the nice long naps he takes!! He is outside with Phil now cleaning up the shed.

Phil will have it easy tonight with just having to watch him! I have my 15 yr class reunion tonight & I'm leaving about 5:15 to have supper with some friends at the new Mexican place in town. Not that new, but I haven't been to it yet. I think I'll even have a strawberry margarita!! MMMMM Then it's off to the Kegal Club for the reunion. Should be a fun night. Would be better if I wasn't feeling so crappy.

Counting down....THREE weeks to go!! I have always gotten a really bad cold while pregnant, but not this late into the pregnancy. This one is miserable. And of course it's worse at night while laying down. I went to the recliner last night for awhile to prop my head up. I've got a cough & all congested up. Called the clinic this morning to see what is safe for me to take. I loaded myself up on Sudafed & Tylenol. Hopefully that kicks in that I can take a nice nap this afternoon.

I'm working on my LAST batch of Ebay items I want to get listed before the baby comes. After this, I am taking some MUCH deserved time off & will just let my store do the selling & not have too much for active auctions. I have been working my tail off & the numbers for Aug/Sept & so far Oct have shown. My top sales ever. Guess that will be my paid maternity leave. I liked it better when I collected from Parker/MTS!!

Nick got into trouble at school AGAIN....

You all know how he likes to *find* stuff.....treasures, money, whatever. He always has his head down looking for stuff. Well he has been finding money in the pop machines at school & every time the teacher saw it, she made him give the money to the missions. Well he did come home with a dime one time......but the rest has all been donated.

Yesterday he said he found a quarter & was putting it in his pocket & the teacher saw him. So now she said he's not allowed by the machines anymore!! He felt so bad about it. Phil & I don't get what her problem is with it. We think she needs to retire!!

And then he said they aren't allowed to RUN after each other at recess anymore....so he says "that means we can't play tag anymore"
