Nick got into trouble at school AGAIN....
You all know how he likes to *find* stuff.....treasures, money, whatever. He always has his head down looking for stuff. Well he has been finding money in the pop machines at school & every time the teacher saw it, she made him give the money to the missions. Well he did come home with a dime one time......but the rest has all been donated.
Yesterday he said he found a quarter & was putting it in his pocket & the teacher saw him. So now she said he's not allowed by the machines anymore!! He felt so bad about it. Phil & I don't get what her problem is with it. We think she needs to retire!!
And then he said they aren't allowed to RUN after each other at recess anymore....so he says "that means we can't play tag anymore"
Poor kid.

That is completely lame. First of all you don't *make* someone give an offering! Secondly, what's wrong with him checking the machine? Crazy teacher is right. And not letting the kids run after each other at recess?? All kids do that!

Exactly! If he's being FORCED to GIVE....what good does that do?? She could SUGGEST he donate it not force him to do it.
I think he wishes he was back in kindergarten!!! Not sure how much he is enjoying 1st grade.....although he now has 3 recesses! LOL
