Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving which we spent at Angie & Loren's. We had a great time & the kids did pretty good....considering it's such a long drive for them. They both caught up on sleep last night...Nick slept 12 hrs & Lexi 13 1/2!

Back to the grind tomorrow!

Our First Snowfall of 2003!

It is cold/windy today but the kids did go out while Phil blew the driveway open.

Pics make it look worse than it really was....maybe only got a couple of inches of snow, but it's been blowing pretty good.

I stopped putting pull-ups on Lexi a few nights ago. She was always waking up dry & had a little rash on her behind so I stopped the pull-ups thinking the rash was from the pull-ups.

So tonight, after she has been talking/singing whatever you want to call it, in her crib for the last 45 mins, I finally went in there. She had undressed her baby & was looking for the diaper. I told her we'd look for it tomorrow.

Then I noticed her water cup was empty (was about 1/2 full), so I asked her if she had to go potty. She said yes. So we went to the bathroom.....and after trying & not being able to go I said it was MY turn & she needed to get back to bed.

Then she says "I want a pull-up on" I asked her WHY? You don't need them anymore.

She says "but then my BUTT will be NAKED"

So she's wearing a pull-up tonight.

We can't have a naked butt now can we?!?!

First snowfall = accidents

There are TWO to report today.

Mom was taking Dad to Iowa this morning so he could get an RV to take out East. Dad was driving & I guess loss control?? They went into the ditch. They were able to drive right out, no damage, no one hurt. Lucky.

Next was me. I was on my way to work. Kids were at home w/ Phil who is on afternoon shift this week. I was heading into New Ulm by the Quartize Quarries & going down the hill & realized it was icy & I should slow down. Too late, van was heading to the other side of the road, CARS were coming straight at me. I spun the whole van around & ended up facing the opposite way. Hit the guard rail. The FOUR cars coming at me where gone & I thought maybe one of them would stop. Nope. No one did. So I drove to work. Checked out the damage when I got there. Rear tail light broken out. Had an estimate done over lunch hour & it will be about $100 to get it fixed.

Guess it's that time of the year around.

We picked up Nick's bday cake today. Our old daycare made it. She had a bag of clothes we had left there. Guess what was in there.....

Happy Halloween!!!

Kids had a BLAST Trick or Treating.....even if it was THIRTY FIVE degrees outside!!! Nick took 3rd place as *Bear In the Big Blue House* at the Courtland Halloween party. He got $5.00!!! Lexi's Pooh as a Pumpkin costume didn't place ;-( We thought she was the cutest :-) Here they are at Grandma & Grandpa's & the 2nd one is with Grandma.....I think that is Grandma!
