He missed his big brother......

Well Nick is finally home now after camping for THREE nights with Grandma & Grandpa. Despite the lousy weather, he still had a blast!! He came home today & was playing with the neighbor kids right away so we hardly even saw him today! He did take some time to hold his baby brother tonight.....I think Zander missed him!! (yes he's sucking his thumb of course! )

This little guy wants IN our house......BAD!!

He has been banging against not just one window, but SIX different ones!!! Seriously. He bangs against the front window, side window, porch door, basement windows, & WOKE me up at 8:00 banging against my bedroom window!! The 2nd shot is him bashing up against the door....see him in the middle there??

SHREK 2........

Took Nick & Lexi to the movie today. Lexi's first movie theatre experience!! She was alright.....just didn't watch a whole lot. Pop & popcorn was gone before the movie started so that didn't help!! She sat on my lap for most of it....made it uncomfortable for me.

I liked the first one alot more than #2 but I think it's always that way!

Oh, we wanted to go to the 12:30 movie & got there....waited in line & they posted SOLD OUT!!! There was probably 20 people in front of us so at least we weren't the NEXT ones when it happened. Bought the tickets for the 2:40 show & went home & Lexi & I took a quick nap before we went! (Nick was busy looking for nightcrawlers.......)

And little Zander slept GREAT last night. Went down about 9:30 & I woke him up at 7:15 cause *I* needed some relief!!! I think the key is to put him to bed a little later than we had. Sometimes it doesn't work out though. Like tonight he was ready at 8:30/8:45...so I'll probably be up w/ him at 4 or 5......oh well I think my body is used to not getting much sleep!!

The latest on my work situation....

This is to follow up with my *chat* w/ my boss yesterday. I received this email today:

Lisa,
I wish I had better news. I received the same response to the part time question today as I received several months ago.
"There is no part time position available." I think you know my feelings on this - we could use your 15-20 hours a week.

Maybe something will shake out over the next few months if you would consider something in the future.

Therefore, the options are for you to return full-time or tender your resignation. I'm assuming you will chose to resign. I will need a letter(email) stating that you intend to resign with an effectivity date. You may want to work the date out with Jolene so you can plan benefits, etc, appropriately.

Let me know if there is anything else I can do. I would be glad to provide a reference if you chose to find part time work with another employer.

Again, my apologies and thanks for your understanding.

Nick's last day of preschool was today. His class put on a play titled "YOU LOOK RIDICULOUS" See if you can find Nick............Nick said Grandma thought he was a horse.......nope.......then she thought he was a zebra....nope...but we know what he is suppose to be right!??!

Ya it was a FLUKE..........

So much for him sleeping through the night.................

He woke up the last couple of nights for a little snack from mommy.........oh well one night was better than none!!

I've got a bottle in the fridge ready for tonight though. Told Phil he can get up w/ him. He laughed at me. Huh?? I would think he could take ONE night feeding since I've done the last 50+ DAYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

I see I haven't posted in awhile. Let's say I now have *happy* news!! Zander slept through the night last night. Went to bed at 8:15 & woke up at 5:45 am. YEAH!!!! Let's hope it's a trend that continues!!!

I'm starting to feel better. In case you don't know, I went to the ER Sunday night on the advice of Dr. Rose. I've got acute Mastitis. In case you don't know what that is..........let's just say it hurts like a mother. I was pretty sick on Mon & Tues. Started to feel better by Wed.

On antibiotics for 10 days.....so hopefully I'm A-OK at the end of that cycle!!

It's almost SURVIVOR time!! My favorite show!
