My new ADDICTION.....

A Walgreen's just opened up here last week. I've always read on different websites about all the great deals there when you combine coupons & their EasySaver Rebate program.

So last night & today I spent a LOT of time on this to see what I could get for a good price!! I went & picked up a Sunday paper yesterday for the extra coupons & then headed back last night as I needed more. Well the gas station was already CLOSED! So this morning I called & asked if I could still get yesterday's paper & she said it was out in the recycle bin. I told her I just wanted the coupons so she said she would go fish them out for me. She thought there was one packet left. Well I went to pick them up today & she had a whole stack for me! So that left me doing a lot of cutting today!! She also said I could pick them up anytime I wanted as long as I came before Wednesday....recycle day!! THat will save me 1.75 each week on a paper! And I'll probably always get more than one weeks worth of coupons!

After I got all my coupons ready & list made out I headed to Walgreens. My first time doing this & I thought I did pretty good!

I spent $93.49 & I have $30.22 coming back in rebates & $20.00 in a gift card. So I'm down to $38.27 which for that I got: (FAR means FREE After Rebate)

Buy 4 Pantene (13.5oz bottles) @ $3 each - two $4/2 coupons (from newspaper)
Buy 2 Infusium 23 bottles @ $5 each - $3/1 coupons (from newspaper)

Receive $10 Walgreens GC for Pantene and Infusium 23 (rebate #17, $10 Gift card when you buy $20 qualifying products)
total = 4 Pantene + 2 Infusium for $22 - $14 coupons - $10 GC = pay $8 + Get a $10 Walgreens GC to use later

So the pantene comes to $1/bottle & the Infusium is $2.00/bottle and you will get a $10 gift card so this deal comes out to Walgreens PAYING me $2.00 to take this off their shelves!!

I think I did pretty good for my first time! Only thing was they didn't give me the $5 Cash Back on the Dove products. I will stop in tomorrow & ask about that. That would bring my total down to $43.27

So I found a new website that has been helping with this. My next goal will be to look into savings on grocery items. Wish we'd have grocery stores that did double & triple coupons!

I want to be one of those people that say "look, I got $250 worth of groceries for $8.00 this week" LOLOLOL If that would be the case, I would be able to quit my job!
