THURSDAY - Valleyfair!

On Thursday, Nick, Eric, & I went to Valleyfair. We got there a little after 11:00 & stayed until closing...10 pm. It was a PERFECT day for it. The weather was beautiful & the crowds were pretty low. We barely had to wait in line for any of the rides. We were able to go on everything we wanted to & most of them more than once.

Either I'm getting too old for this, or the rides are getting more EXTREME. I'd like to think it's the rides getting more extreme!! I told Phil that he can go with the kids next year! It took until Friday night before I felt decent. Was dizzy, & had an upset stomach. I guess I don't quite know my limits for the rides! They look so fun & I wanted to join in!!

Nick did awesome for his first time there. He went on every ride, wasn't one bit afraid. We did the Extreme Swing, which is their new ride this year. That did me in...and I thought Nick too....but he did it again at the very end of the night. The kid is crazy!! I told him to close his eyes if he got scared. I pretty much had my eyes closed on a lot of them new ones. It's been probably 12 years since I've been there so there are quite a few new ones!!

While I was at Valleyfair trying real hard to keep my cookies in, poor Phil was cleaning up after Lexi lost her cookies. Must of been just a one day bug she had. When I got home that night, I went to check on her & she woke to tell me "I threwed up"
